General information
The electronic journal Criminology, Criminalistics and Private Security Files aims to disseminate criminal, forensic and criminological sciences. Invites researchers, teachers and students to send their contributions to be assessed. You can send contributions on current issues or classics.
Contributions published in each volume must be results of original scientific research product, as well as other significant original contributions to the area of the journal. Contributions must be written in a clear, accessible to readers with vocational training and teaching, but also accept articles with advanced terminology.
The journal reserves copyright for the distribution and reproduction of the materials therein to be accepted the article for publication. Letter of rights transfers will not be sent, but the author gives aware that being accepted his article and warned of its publication.

Periodicity
Criminology, Criminalistics and Private Security Files is published half a year, the first volume of the year corresponds to January-July and the second from August-December, in these same periods can be dedicated special volumes or issues specific to institutional collaborations or graduate students for academic support. Is a Mexican publication carried out by Mr. Wael Sarwat Hikal Carreon through the Mexican Society of Criminology of the state of Nuevo Leon.

Evaluation
The review and editing process is to inform the author about the suggestions made by the editorial committee:
- Any article must be original, and not be published in another journal or in process of revision;
- Peer review articles under the dual blind system, from which its results will be anonymous;
- The dictamination will have the following results: not publishable, publishable but with modifications and publishable. The process won’t last not more than 3 months this process, and
- Once sent suggestions to the author, this one decide to modify the article, will be published on the nearest volume or until the next period.
Editorial norms
Articles must be submitted in the following way:
- In document Word 2000 or higher;
- Minimun extention of 3 pages and maximum 20 pages;
- All margins in 3;
- Paper size: letter;
- The structure must be with title centered (in English and Spanish), name of the author to the left with your institutional affiliation and e-mail address (optional), abstract in English and Spanish, 3-5 key words in English and Spanish, introduction (optional), items, conclusions and bibliography, in bold type;
- The APA system will be used, and
- The bibliography should go to the end of the text and in alphabetical order, beginning with author, book or article, Edition or volume, editorial, country and year.
Synthesis of APA
Standards APA are a comprehensive set of instructions and recommendations for the preparation of publications. Nowhere standards APA focuses specifically on its application in thesis, articles or research products in particular; Thus, they must be understood as a generic set of applicable recommendations.

Multiple references of the same author (or an identical group of authors) are sorted by year of publication, with the oldest first. If the year of publication is also the same, differentiate them by writing a letter a, b, c, after the year.

Electronic sources
Author, A. (year). Title of the work. Title of the electronic publication, volume-year. The date obtained from address.
The references should be written in alphabetical order by last name of author (or editor). Multiple references of the same author (or an identical group of authors) are sorted by year of publication, with the oldest first. If the year of publication is the same, they should be differentiated by writing letter a, b, c etc., after the year.
Appointments of more than two authors must complete the first cite, while successive appointments should only include the first author followed by: Et all.

Typical structure of the article
Abstract/Resumen
Presents: the context of the study, the purpose, the main findings and the main conclusions.
Key words/Palabras clave
It should emphasize new and important aspects of the study or observations.
Introduction
Allows the flexibility and variety of topics, in the same way part of a descriptive analysis, historical, theoretical, scientific, political, cultural, economic and social issues of today. It is hinted that the wording of the article should start facts and not reflections of philosophical type or general considerations of the matter to treat.
Methods and materials
The methods section should include only information that was available at the time the plan or protocol for the study was written. Any information that was obtained during the study must appear in the results section. Usually the methods described techniques or methods with emphasis on how to apply to the specific study of the scientific article. The part of materials describes samples or studies objects, its description, its origin and its general characteristics relevant for the study.
Results
Where the results obtained, in experimental studies or simulations computations are often accompanied by tables or charts that summarize quantitative and qualitative aspects of the new results of the study.
Bibliography
An enumeration of the bibliography consulted and cited. Mostly this bibliography consists of other scientific articles, usually recent and only very occasionally some older articles that were historically important or seminal and books with General results.
